Founded by Collette Divitto

Collette Divitto, born Down syndrome faced rejection over and over when trying to find employment. She baked for fun and to keep her happy and grounded. After graduating a University program and interviewing for years, it was clear to her she was not going to be given a chance to prove herself in the workplace. She would not let this defeat her so she brought samples of her well-known cookies to her local market. The owner LOVED the cookies and immediately gave her shelf space. That was the day that Collette started her company and called it Collettey's Cookies. Since then she has sold over 800,000 cookies and has become a strong voice across the world for people with disabilities. She has gone on to do a TEDx talk, publish her own children's books, film a documentary and become a global speaker.
